A farm with a cause
The Patachou Foundation’s urban farm on 46th Street provides fresh produce for PataSchool meals, serves as a hands-on classroom for youth, and offers career training in urban agriculture through the Food Fellowship. Prioritizing soil health and biodiversity, the farm showcases sustainable, low-cost farming methods and acts as a public model for small-scale urban agriculture.
Food Fellowship
The farm transforms into a training ground for Food Fellows during the summer. They learn about sustainable farming practices, different growing techniques, and they get to see the food they cultivated be used to make scratch-made meals for themselves and kids around the community. Learn More >>
PataSChool
During the school year, hundreds of pounds of produce are used in the high-quality, scratch-made meals served to students at our PataSchool partners. Learn More >>
Farm Rules
Please enjoy and explore the farm, but please keep these things in mind:
Do not pick produce or flowers without a farmer’s permission.
Stick to the walking paths between garden beds.
Do not feed the chickens or enter the chicken run.
